Job Summary: The Facilities Coordinator (FC) maintains and oversees the OurCommunity buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure that our workspaces, neighborhoods and the property are clean, safe and functional. The Facilities Coordinator (FC) is responsible for identifying reputable vendors, obtaining bids for services, and making recommendations for the best course of action. The FC will continually inspect our facilities, ensuring we are meeting safety regulations. In collaboration with the Director of Operations, the FC will serve as the primary contact for coordinating repairs, maintenance, enhancements, and renovations, in addition to Fleet Management. With rare exception, the FC will serve as the project manager for a majority of repairs, enhancements, and improvements. At times, this position may also rotate around the ministry to perform other duties and responsibilities needed to support the Operations Department. Given the nature of the role and responsibilities, work hours may fluctuate outside of normal business hours. The typical work days for this position are Tuesday through Saturday.

Requirement

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Research, plan, decide, observe, and evaluate all facility-related activities and adjust accordingly
• Serve as primary contact for all maintenance, repair, cleaning, and janitorial vendors and suppliers
• Oversee all maintenance and repair projects, including enhancements and improvements
• Perform hands-on basic repairs and maintenance, including minor plumbing (e.g., changing faucets)
• Troubleshoot basic electrical issues, repair doors, and install signage
• Maintain grounds and common areas
• Install and configuration of electronics (e.g., mounting TVs, setting up community devices and signage, installing furniture into Resident homes, etc.)
• Ensure that company premises and facilities are kept in a clean, safe, and hygienic condition
• Maintain a log of all repair, maintenance, and improvements in DoorLoop
• Maintain a schedule of routine maintenance for all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration equipment
• Responsible for the end-to-end logistical support of meetings and events, including the preparation, setup, and storage of equipment and furniture pre and post events
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and functional
• Oversee the janitorial services provider, ensuring that the facility is kept clean at all times
• Ensure that all fire and safety equipment is properly inspected and maintained
• Ensure code compliance in all aspects of MEP, HVAC-R, Fire Safety, Building and Grounds
• Responsible for Fleet Management of all OCF vehicles
• Maintain a clean and organized work space

Education and Experience:

• High school graduate or equivalent, required
• 2 years’ experience overseeing maintenance and vendors
• 1 year experience in commercial building facility operations
• Facility Maintenance or Project Management Certification, a plus
• Fluency in conversational Spanish, a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds without assistance and up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, kneel, use hands and fingers, amid a moderate to loud environment
• Ability to work in uncomfortable temperature climates when necessary
