Youth Pastor

Description

The Youth Pastor is responsible for shepherding, discipling, and leading all ministry for junior and high school students. The Youth Pastor’s role supports the overall spiritual health of First Church by focusing on building up our next generation of Christ followers. The Youth Pastor will relate, connect, teach, mentor, and disciple our students. They will recruit and lead volunteers, coordinate special events and trips, mentor parents, and live according to Christ’s example.

Requirement

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in theology or biblical studies preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience teaching or leading students.
• Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
• Excellent communicator with both students and parents.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: 50,000-70,000 (annual)
